Mounted Justice
Cowboy Mounted Shooting
Background
Mounted Justice will be presenting information about Cowboy Mounted Shooting at the 2012 Midwest Horse Fair®. While it is one of the fastest growing equestrian sports, Cowboy Mounted Shooting is still a relatively new and expanding equine sport. Mounted Justice is the primary organization supporting Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association sponsored activities in Wisconsin.
Organized in 1999, Mounted Justice supports new shooter clinics and hosts about 10 competitions per year at different locations across the state. Members of Mounted Justice serve on national advisory committees and compete in state, multi-state, regional, national and world competitions.
There are six levels of competition in cowboy mounted shooting. All shooters begin at level one. Mounted Justice has shooters competing at all six levels. The information presented at the Midwest Horse Fair® will introduce participants to the Cowboy Mounted Shooting sport and provide specific information on the basics for getting started in this exciting activity.
Mounted Justice is scheduled to appear:
Friday at 9:00 am in the Nutrena Senior Room
Saturday at 5:00 pm in the Nutrena SafeChoice Room
Sunday at 8:00 am in the Andis Demo Arena
