Horses & Heroes
The Midwest Horse Fair® will celebrate its 34th annual event on April 19, 20 & 21 – 2013 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. In 2013, the theme Horses & Heroes will be the backdrop for the weekend.
“Horses have the power to inspire and evoke feelings of pride and courage and these traits are synonymous with America’s real life heroes-those in our military and protective services,” explains Rhonda Reese, General Manager of the event.
To recognize the country’s truest heroes, veterans and active service members, on Sunday April 21 the Midwest Horse Fair® will celebrate Military Day sponsored by Blain's Farm & Fleet. A complimentary gate admission will be given to guests who present a Military ID. The three-day event will reflect on the impact of horses and every day heroes. Several special events will be lined up to celebrate horses and the red, white and blue throughout the weekend.
On Friday and Saturday night, the Midwest Horse Fair® will host premiere evening performances. General admission tickets for the Midwest Horse Fair® are currently on sale. VIP Packages and Evening Show Tickets will go on sale near the winter holidays.
Started in 1979, the Midwest Horse Fair® has been continuously growing, with a strong focus on education and high-quality entertainment for individual horse owners, families, and those who just love horses. More than 500 exhibitors offer unique shopping and educational opportunities. Demonstrations and ongoing entertainment, along with hundreds of clinics, seminars, and events throughout the weekend offer something for everyone. Nearly 700 horses of more than 40 breeds, will be performing, competing, or on display throughout the weekend.
